I know it has been a super long time, like seven months, since I blogged. I have finally finished all my school and am waiting for my diploma. A lot has changed since last time. Joe and I are expecting our first baby in May 23rd, our 2 year anniversary. We are very excited and a little nervous. We have no names picked out for either boys or girls. We find out on January 5th what we are having, maybe. As long as child behaves and cooperates. Of course a lady in our ward was told twice that she was having a girl, she already has three. She has an ultrasound right before she delivers and they assure her it's a girl. Then it's born, and it's a BOY!!! So, I think I'm going to take some advice from her and have any baby showers AFTER the baby is born just to make sure. ;) I think everything will be fine, but you never know. There is a reason for the lack of pictures, I don't look any different. Sorry, no belly or anything. I did cut my hair off pretty short today, but other than that I look the same. As far as my weight goes I've actually lost about 10 lbs, I really lost about 13 but I've gained a couple back since I can eat food again. That drastic loss was because for about 2 1/2 weeks I could only eat French Bread and Unsalted Saltine crackers. Then I got a little cold, so that affected my appetite too. I did get the Swine Flu shot, which is the first shot I've had since I was 16 so I could attend high school. So, whatever. Everything is going well and I can't wait to actually feel the baby move and not just know I'm pregnant because I have to pee a lot and get hungry every two hours.
Enough about me, Joe has finished his first semester of college. Well at a 4 year school, but not in all. He did well and made As and Bs. He does have to take a placement test for English and Math, so cross your fingers. He's a little nervous but he'll do great. I really am proud of him for leaving his job for school. I know it sounds stupid, but since he transferred his Community College credits he now qualifies for student work. So maybe a job will be on the horizon for both of us. I'm still looking, but we'll see. I don't really want to try to find a permanent job because no one will want to hire me for 5 months. I don't want to come back after the baby is born. They might not like me so I'm seeing a few temporary jobs here and there so I'm trying. Please keep us in your prayers while we go through these changes. We have faith and know that the Lord will provide, but sometimes it's still a little scary and I find myself crying a lot more now then before when I didn't have a job. I know it will be alright and everything will work out like it should, so I've learned this is my test in life. Just letting go and having faith.
I hope everyone has a great New Year and a Merry Christmas. Next year will bring many changes and challenges, but look forward to all that comes your way.
