Valentine's Day

My Valentine's Day this year was pretty much the same as every year. Joe and I went out on Thursday night to Roll and Bowls which is a sushi resturant that is the smaller version of Dragonfly. That place is too expensive for me. We had a great time and the food was actually really good. Since going to Thailand any Asain food in the states just doesn't taste quite right. We were both pleasently surprised. We then went to Brian's house, Joe's old roomate, and watched Taken. Yes, it's in theaters right now, but somehow they downloaded it off line. It was the best movie. I am a huge fan of action movies so this was right up my alley. On Friday we had to go the the church and decorate for the Gold and Green Ball that was the next day. It was pretty boring because it was Valentine's Day themed and I'm not a fan. But I have to say that my husband knows how to make me like it. When I got home from work there were roses in a vase in the fridge and Frerra Roche on the counter. That is my favorite candy in the whole world and I rarely buy it because it's not cheap. So it was really sweet and simple. On Saturday I spent the day running around like a mad lady in the rain to get all the last minute crap for the dance. I decorated super simple I was told, but everyone seemed to have enjoyed it. So that was my great weekend. I finally enjoyed my Valentine's Day!
