Update

Just thought I'd give a quick update about my poor toe.  I'm walking fine now and probably against my doctor's wishes, if I had one, I quit wearing my post-op shoe.  Without all the padding on my foot the little plastic eye the Velcro goes through is right on top of my pinkie toe and pushes on my toe.  The stitches don't hurt and I can bend my toes almost all the way.  My pinkie still lags behind but I still have about four days until my stitches come out.  My toe is still purplish blue from the nasty bruise.  That's really why my toe hurt in the post-op shoe.  Joe still calls my Captain Nine Toes, even though I still have ten.  Whatever, he thinks it's funny, so I let him say it.  Then the bad part is people that don't know that I still have ten toes get worried.  Oh well, the look on their faces is great!
